Food Industry Association toast to excellence in WA’s F&B industry The 2nd Annual FIA Westpac Food and Beverage Industry Awards Ceremony takes place on Friday September 4th, at Burswood Entertainment Complex, Perth. This year’s event promises to follow in the success of last year’s inaugural awards night and will be hosted by Western Australian local and highly regarded national journalist, Channel 9 News reporter Dixie Marshall. The black tie event will start at 6.30pm with a sampling of WA’s finest produce, followed by a gala dinner in the Astral Ballroom, with live entertainment throughout the night and of course the announcement of the winners of the 2009/10 FIA Westpac Food and Beverage Industry Awards to be revealed in a lively presentation. Categories include Best Retail Product, Best Food Service Product/Achievement, Environment & Sustainability, Best Service to Industry, Excellence in Supply Chain, Export and Best Marketing Campaign and the prestigious Westpac Business of the Year Award. This year’s panel of industry experts has been announced and will use their expertise to judge the many applicants that have so far entered their nominations. Nominations closed Friday, August 14th.
