The Food Industry Association WA Inc provides professional and industry training for all businesses involved in the food and beverage industry. The Association runs a variety of courses and seminars each month that are focused on;

• Improving business profitability
• Increasing value-added production
• Improving access to new markets
• Improving employee qualifications
• Applying new findings in research and development
• Understanding business regulations and legal requirements

The Association coordinates industry relevant training at a discounted rate to members.

The Association is conveniently located at University of Western Australia, Shenton Park, and works closely with a number of training providers to ensure that training programs can be developed in conjunction with the members and the wider industry. The FIA will shortly be awarded the recognition as a nationally accredited training provider and deliver nationally recognised training modules as part of the Certificate I-IV in food manufactering, food handling and safety.
