Applying for Grants
Up to $500,000 for food and beverage manufacturers

 Food Manufacturers - Get up to $500,000 to reduce your carbon footprint

Apply for between $10,000 and $500,000 to improve water and energy efficiencies reducing your carbon footprint.

This is a competitive funding program and applicants must demonstrate an ability to match funding at the time of application.

The program has funded a number of WA food and beverage companies and are looking for more winners, so get in quick before the money runs out!

Big Tax Benefits and Cash Back for Eligible R&D

Between 125% and 175% tax deduction!

If you are conducting research and development in you may be eligilble for a tax deduction between 125% - 175%.

If you are in a loss situation you may still be eligible for a cash refund of around 37% of eligible R&D expenditure.

In order to be eligible you need to make sure you are keeping the right kind of records, have an R&D plan etc.

To take advantage of the potential cash refund, lodge your R&D tax concession registration and tax return as soon as possible after June 30 and improve your cash flow!


 
Early Stage Commercialisation Grants up to $2 million

Up to $2 million for SMEs

The Australian Government are offering repayable grants up to $2 million to support the development of a  new product, process or service to the stage where it can be taken to market. 

Applicants must demonstrate an ability to match funding on a 50:50 basis at the time of application, and will be required to repay the grant funds on very favorable terms following success of their commercialsiation project.

$250,000 Government Grant for Proof of Concept Activities

 Up to $250,000 for Prototype development and testing, and other Proof of Concept activities.

Government grants between $50,000 and $250,000 are available to assist with testing of the commercial viability of an innovative product, process or service.

This is a matched funding grant where applicants will have to demonstrate that they have matched funding at the time of application, must meet strict eligibilty and merit criteria, and projects must be completed within 12 months.

WA Dairy Industry Travel Scholarships

WA Dairy industry Travel Scholarships for dairy industry employees

 The travel scholarship provides for successful applicants to attend a Dairy Industry Association of Australia educational event or undertake a specific approved study tour, including travel, accommodation and other expenses.

Free Business Review & up to $20,000 in grant funding

Improve your business efficiency and success with a free comprehensive expert business review.

Interested in having your business operation reviewed and identify where you can improve operations and save money?

A comprehensive business analysis can be conducted on-site by a skilled and exerienced Business Advisor funded through the Enterprise Connect program. 

Business Advisors can assist with examination of your business strengths & weaknesses; strategic business issues; or potential areas for improvement or growth.  As part of the business review, the Business Advisor may recommend actions for which you can be reimbursed up to 50% of the cost, capped at $20,000. 

This might include projects to improve suppy chain management; business planning or developing an export strategy. 

The Business Review recommendations might even support your application for other grant funding such as Re-tooling for Climate Change.

Businesses can get up to $200,000 over two years to recruit experienced Chief Executives or other executives to support taking an innovative idea to market.
